KEEP THIS IN MIND
Unit dimensions, access routes and the way you pack can change what fits. Treat size comparisons as a starting point and ask the facility team when in doubt.
A storage unit can make a move much easier when it is treated as part of the plan rather than a last-minute overflow space. A little preparation protects your belongings and keeps move-in day manageable.
Book around the real timetable
Confirm your unit before removal day and check office and access hours. If there is a gap between tenancies, allow a few extra days so keys, cleaning and transport are not compressed into one afternoon.

Pack by destination
Label boxes with both their contents and the room they will eventually enter. Keep documents, chargers, medication and the first-night essentials outside storage. Load items you may need first nearest the door.
Make loading simple
Use boxes that can be stacked safely, protect furniture corners and bring straps for moving trolleys. Our centres have loading equipment available, but telling the team about unusually heavy items in advance is always useful.
